Customers can purchase and pick up directly from our Orchard Stores. We supply both retail and wholesale markets — retail customers can shop onsite at our Orchard Stores, online via our partners Paddock to Pantry, while wholesale orders are managed through Upstock.
Fresh punnets are only available during the harvest season when our Orchard Store is open. You can also find our fresh punnets in Countdown, Foodstuffs and smaller supermarket chains.
Consumer orders are delivered by Paddock to Pantry. We deliver to supermarkets across New Zealand using chilled and frozen freight to ensure your order arrives fresh and frozen. For bulk or wholesale orders, we can arrange direct freight to cafes, bakeries, and food producers nationwide – direct from Ohaupo in the North Island and with our distribution partners Cool & Fresh out of Christchurch for South Island customers.
Brix (°Bx) is a measurement of the sugar content in a liquid or fruit. Specifically, it represents the percentage of soluble solids (mostly sugars, but also includes vitamins, minerals, acids, and other dissolved solids) in a solution.
In simple terms:
1° Brix = 1 gram of sucrose in 100 grams of solution
(e.g. juice or fruit pulp).
In the context of blueberries:
A Brix reading of 10–14 means that for every 100g of juice extracted from the berries, 10 to 14 grams are sugar and other soluble solids.
Higher Brix usually indicates a sweeter, riper, more flavorful fruit.
It’s commonly measured using a refractometer and is an important quality indicator in the food industry, especially for fruit and juice products.
