Ingredients
- Frozen Blueberries
- Frozen Strawberries
- Frozen Boysenberries
- Butter
Method
Gently simmer a mixture of frozen berries in a saucepan. We recommend a blend of blueberries, strawberries, and boysenberries, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand.
Add a small knob of butter to the pan for richness, and let the berries break down over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly and becomes glossy.
Serving suggestions
- Over pancakes or waffles
- With muffins
- Swirled through yoghurt
- Topping for ice cream
- On toast or crumpets
