Between December and April – Come and enjoy the simple pleasure of picking your own blueberries, right in the heart of the Waikato. Surrounded by rolling farmland and just a short drive from Hamilton, our Ōhaupō orchard offers a true taste of country life. Bring the family, relax under the summer sun, and fill your buckets with the sweetest berries grown right here in New Zealand.
NGATEA Orchard
Between December and Waitangi Weekend (7-8th Feb) – Come and experience the joy of harvesting your own blueberries, fresh from one of New Zealand’s largest family-owned orchards. Our Ngatea orchard is more than a farm — it’s a place to connect with nature, share time with family and friends, and enjoy delicious berries grown right here in Aotearoa. Open 8am – 5pm everyday except Christmas Day.
Otautau Orchard
Between December and May – Experience the charm of our southernmost orchard, where crisp air and wide open skies make blueberry picking a real Southland adventure. Located near Otautau township, this orchard offers fresh berries, friendly faces, and a peaceful rural setting that’s perfect for a summer day out with family and friends. Open 8am – 5pm everyday except Christmas Day.
Waipu Orchard
Come and experience the joy of harvesting your own blueberries, fresh from one of New Zealand’s largest family-owned orchards. Nestled in the stunning Northland region, just a short drive from Waipū township and close to the coast, this orchard is a favourite summer destination. We may have one weekend open for pick your own in December – otherwise the season runs from January through till April.
Between October and April the Orchard store is open for Real Fruit Ice Cream and Frozen Berry sales Mon – Fri 8.30am-4.30pm.
