It All Starts With a Blueberry
Before we talk about harvesting, it’s worth remembering why blueberries are so special. Tiny yet packed with flavour, these berries are known for their natural sweetness, vibrant colour, and powerful antioxidants. Each blueberry begins as a delicate blossom in early spring, slowly ripening under the sun until it reaches peak sweetness.

Picking
The harvest begins as soon as the berries reach their perfect blue hue — a sign of full ripeness and sweetness. Our team handpicks each berry to protect its delicate skin and natural bloom, moving carefully through the rows to ensure only the best fruit is chosen.
Sorting & Storing
After picking, the berries are immediately brought into our cooling facility. They’re gently sorted to remove leaves or underripe fruit, then rapidly cooled to lock in freshness and extend shelf life. This step is crucial to maintaining the berries’ texture and flavor from orchard to table.
Packing & Delivery
Once sorted, the blueberries are packed into recyclable containers that protect them during transport. Each punnet is sealed and labeled before being sent out to stores, markets, and customers. Our goal is to have berries packed and ready for delivery within hours of picking — so every punnet tastes as fresh as if you’d picked it yourself.
