A Visit from Our Friends at Barker’s EveryDay+
We were delighted to welcome our friends and partners from Barker’s EveryDay+ to Blueberry Country. Their recent visit offered a lovely glimpse into our orchards, our story, and the care that goes into growing the blueberries we’re proud to share with New Zealand.
It was a real pleasure to welcome our friends from Barker’s EveryDay+ to Blueberry Country and share a little of what goes on behind the scenes here at the orchard.
As a valued partner, Barker’s EveryDay+ knows just how much care goes into growing premium blueberries, and it was wonderful to see them take an interest in our people, our orchards, and the journey our fruit takes from the bush to homes around New Zealand.
Their recent feature on Blueberry Country captures some of that story beautifully — from our long history of growing blueberries to the scale of our orchards and the passion that sits behind everything we do. As highlighted in their article, Blueberry Country is New Zealand’s largest family-owned blueberry grower, with orchards in Ōhaupō, Ngatea, Waipū and Otautau. Together, these orchards help us grow a wide range of blueberry varieties and supply quality fruit throughout the season.
We especially appreciated the way Barker’s EveryDay+ shared not just the scale of the operation, but also the values behind it.
